- What
is the minimum age a student can start gymnastics?
A: 15 months
- Do
you have a dance program?
A: Yes, it's called
Music and Motion and includes a 1/2 hour of gymnastics and 1/2 hour of dance.
We teach children a variety of dance styles.
- What
do the students do in gymnastics?
A: The students rotate between all the
major Olympic events. Boys ages 5 and older do bars, floor, rings, parallel bars,
vault, pommel horse and mushroom. Girls ages 5 and older do beam, bars, floor,
vault. Both genders rotate on the trampolines, tumble trak, hanging gladiator
rings and climbing ropes.
- Do you
have boys and girls in the same gymnastics class?
A: Our pre-school aged
classes are mixed but ages 5 and older are divided according to gender.
- Can
I sign-up online or over the phone?
A: You can sign up over the phone
by using your credit card. We are not currently capable of signing you up online.
- Do parents have to stay?
A:
No, but we have comfortable seating with chairs, tables, free WiFi, and a children's
toy area.
- Do you have trial classes?
A: Yes, but you must pay for the class using a check or cash. If you are
unsatisfied, your money will be refunded at the end of class.
- Is
there a specific time of month I have to start?
A: We offer open enrollment
so you can start at anytime.
- Are
your instructors certified?
A: Yes, we require our instructors to be both
CPR and PDP(Professional Development Program Level 1) certified. Many are also
first aid certified.
- What is the
student to teacher ratio?
A: Appropriate according to the amount of equipment,
age, and ability of the student. The averages are as follows: 15 months to 3 years=
10 to 1 (a guardian must attend class with the student) 3-4 years = 7 to 1 5 years
and above = 8 to 1
